How tools are scored

score = 100 × ( 0.45·Community + 0.35·Mentions + 0.2·Activity ) ÷ (weights with data) × (0.6 + 0.4·coverage)

Community
Average of each available signal, log-scaled then min-max normalized across all tools: GitHub stars, forks, Hugging Face 30-day downloads and likes, and Hacker News points on stories that name the tool.
Mentions
How often the tool is named in titles and descriptions of the 280 videos on the Watch page plus the tutorials on Learn, log-scaled and normalized.
Activity
Open source only: e−days since last push / 90.
Coverage
The share of formula weight we actually have data for. Missing signals are left blank, not guessed; a tool scored on mentions alone is discounted rather than inflated.

Paid tools have no public rating source we can use within terms of service (Product Hunt and G2 block or forbid automated access), so they lean on mentions. Comment sentiment is not scored yet.
